The birth of their second child has been confirmed by Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger.
On Sunday night, the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star and his novelist wife announced the birth of their baby girl on their Instagram accounts.
“Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt is our second daughter. Mama and child are in good health “it said in the caption
“We are truly grateful and blessed. Katherine and Chris, we love you.”
Lyla Schwarzenegger Pratt, who was born in August 2020, is the couple’s first child. They married in 2019. With ex-wife Anna Faris, Pratt has a 9-year-old son named Jack.
Schwarzenegger, the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, has previously spoken up about navigating the ups and downs of parenthood with the help of her other half.
On a Mother’s Day edition of her Instagram video series “BDA (Before, During, & After) Baby,” she addressed British model and fellow new mother Iskra Lawrence last year.
“Can you imagine you can feed, your body can nourish your baby?” he’ll say to our daughter (Lyla).
In July of last year, Pratt intimated that he and his wife intended to start a family after allegedly cracking the fatherhood code.
“I’d love to have more, as many as the man upstairs will provide,” the “Jurassic World” star teased on the E! News Daily Pop show.
He added: “We’ll make it happen. I’ll have to discuss it with Katherine, but for now, let’s leave.”
