The annual virtual event, Disney Plus Day, officially began on September 8, but Disney is already providing incredible discounts.
Right now, you can get a Disney Plus subscription for just $1.99/month, which is a significant discount from their regular $7.99/month price. However, to stream all the new episodes and movies the streamer will be launching this week, you’ll need to take advantage of the offer before it expires on September 19.
For Disney Plus Day, there is already a jam-packed schedule of new material coming to the streaming service, and dozens of surprise announcements are anticipated to happen over the weekend. Highlights include the release of “Thor: Love and Thunder” on streaming services and a brand-new Tom Hanks-led “Pinocchio” adaption.
Additionally, additional behind-the-scenes looks at the making of “Thor” and the recently finished “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series will be available to subscribers. The development of the “Obi-Wan” limited series is documented in “A Jedi’s Return,” while “Marvel Studios Assembled: The Making of Thor: Love and Thunder” has interviews with Chris Hemsworth, Taika Waititi, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, and Tessa Thompson.

A Disney Plus subscription will also get subscribers access to the platform’s extensive collection of original shows and films, including works by Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar. So of course, we’re all excited about “Hocus Pocus 2,” which debuts on Disney Plus on September 30. “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” was one of the biggest new shows to reach the streamer last month, but it wasn’t the only one.
