Already popular across Australia, where the revolutionary new fitness concept was birthed, FLOW ST8 opens at a legendary West Hollywood Sunset Boulevard address in April.

Fitness fans in the know couldn’t be more excited.

It all begins in mid-April at 8305 Sunset Boulevard.

When asked what brings the already iconic Australian brand to the City of Angels, founder Dave Nelson, well known as one of the most unique peak performance coaches in the world with a reputation for bringing all aspects of body, mind, state, diet & spirit into a single strategy, had this to say:

“In Australia, we have a growing list of elite athletes and celebrity clients, so positioning ourselves in such a central and iconic location was imperative. We are committed to providing the highest level of product in the world.”

Flow ST8’s Mixed Modality Training is the evolution of fitness – it carefully blends together the best of eight body and mind modalities into a single workout practice.

“Every modality practiced on its own has its weak points and limitations, it’s only in the UNITY of modalities that we can cover all aspects of wellness and create a “super” workout system,” explains Flow ST8 founder, Dave Nelson. “For the same reason Mixed Martial Arts is so superior to single focused sports, Mixed Modality Training brings expertise from all aspects of fitness into one. “Every workout style has its own superpower and benefits, but each also has its limitations or missing elements. For example – yoga is amazing for flexibility and mobility but lacks strength and cardio work. It’s not until we unify them into a single practice that all weak points are covered, and all benefits are amplified.”

He points out that FLOW ST8 changes the game in a way that has a real impact.

“Traditionally, only elite athletes have had the time, money and resources to train all aspects of movement, mind and spirit. At Flow St8, we bring it all together in a time-effective, perfectly programmed way and make it available for all.”

FLOW ST8 offers both performance (power) and recovery (flow) classes. The Power Class is 60 minutes long and is divided into three phases. Phase one is the warm-up phase, or “yin,” which incorporates breathwork, yoga, mobility, and animal movements. Phase two is the performance phase or “yang,” which includes High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) before moving into functional strength and sculpt lifting. Phase three focuses on a cool-down and meditation, as well as setting a daily intention. Recovery classes are 45 minutes long and include rolling and pilates in place of HIIT and weightlifting. Each class is led by a certified FLOW ST8 Method Practitioner. Practitioners are trained in not only all aspects of physical movements, but also in breathwork, mindfulness, biohacking, and managing the nervous system.

Extra care has been taken with the studio design, too. It’s a breathtaking space.

“Inspired by the concrete jungle architecture found in Bali with a touch of Zen, it is intended to be a total sensory experience with custom tracks matching the flow of each workout and diffusers releasing a TCM-formulated scent to help you get into the flow. The method brings together ancient eastern wisdom with the most cutting edge modern western sports science and longevity techniques,” the company said in a recent media release.

There’s nothing like it anywhere in the United States.

Expect to see the studio full of sports stars, A-list celebrities and influencers soon.
