SAN DIEGO, California, January 24, 2024 –The Academy of Our Lady of Peace (OLP) proudly announces its 10th Annual Women’s Symposium on March 8th, 2024, continuing its longstanding commitment to the advancement of young women in academia and leadership. This year’s symposium will bring together renowned women leaders addressing critical concerns in the workplace. The event is a symphony of voices rising together, creating a powerful resonance that echoes themes of women empowerment. For 142 years, OLP has empowered young women. The annual Women’s Symposium celebrates the OLP legacy and provides a platform for students and local community members to connect with exceptional women leaders across an array of disciplines. This year’s 10th annual Women’s Symposium features a lineup of more than 30 speakers, ensuring a wealth of diverse insights and perspectives that appeals to every participant.
This year the theme is Together We Rise, and the stage will be shared by a multitude of dynamic speakers with panel discussions covering pertinent topics like public policy, healthcare and fashion. The symposium will open with a keynote address by Emmy Award Winning Journalist, Rocsi Diaz, panel discussions with an impressive lineup of accomplished women leaders such as, our Chair, Kimberly King – Founder, CEO, and Director of Client Relations at KKM, Christine LaMarca- President of the California Rental Housing Association, Lauren Fisher Nike Represented CrossFit Athlete and Entrepreneur behind Grown Strong, Sarah (Valine) Harris ‘08- Renowned chef, Coreen Petti- Associate Vice President of University Events and partnerships at the University of San Diego, and many more esteemed guests.
