Making a name in the publishing industry is not as easy as most people would assume, and no one knows this better than Dillon Kivo himself, the founder and CEO of Authority Titans. Unknown to many, Kivo also had his share of adversities prior to becoming an authority in the publication business. Just like so many other entrepreneurs, he also experienced massive difficulty in making his business take off. But he is not one to give up so easily, and because of this attribute, he eventually found the perfect element missing in his formula to transform his company into the publication giant it is today.

How Dillon Kivo managed to pull himself out of being a McDonald’s crew member, being broke, and unable to successfully elevate his business for a season is a story defined by hard work, persistence, and faith. At the time, he was trying to find his footing as a publicist, Kivo was a fast-food crew member, heartbroken after breaking up with his girlfriend, barely making ends meet, and back at home living with his parents. It was not an ideal situation at all, but he chose to hustle nonetheless, even if it meant shorter hours of sleep, taking on side hustles, and facing discouragement.

It took him two years to finally establish himself as a reliable publicist. From being broke to having celebrities hire him to make their names popular online, his personal journey is anything but ordinary. In 2018, he was making impressive connections with the likes of Ice Cube, home he helped to promote his Big 3 Basketball Tournament. He also promoted the charity bowling event of legendary NFL coach Ron Rivera. Kivo has also worked with Miami Heat player Chris Andersen, Pretty Ricky, professional skateboarder Ryan Sheckler, and NFL wide receiver Marcus Peterson.

The missing element in Dillon Kivo’s formulaic building Authority Titans was a mentor. It was his mentor who taught him how to get in the news for free and gain a massive number of followers as well. Kivo worked for Paul when he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, after his first business failed. His new employer owned a company that generated at least $310 million annually. Kivo was hired to be a Public Relations Assistant, doing the writing, reporting, branding, and a lot of marketing for his new employer. But it was not until he joined Paul’s “inner circle” that Kivo finally learned the strategies that got things done. Paul taught him how to get news connections, publications, followers, travel, and even make himself famous.

Kivo’s time working for Paul turned out to be the most pivotal experience of his life. His success with Authority Titans landed him a spot in New York Weekly’s 2020 30 Under List. His remarkable work for Casey Adams was so successful that it caught the attention of Larry King, who sat down with him for an interview. His work also advanced the businesses of Anthony Napolitano, Meg Schwarzrock, and Ricky Aranda, among others.

Whether he is making someone famous or working to take Authority Titans to the next level, Dillon Kivo can be expected to give it his best shot. It is this attribute that he imparts to his team to ensure that his clients get only the best kind of service.
