How Global Tour Creatives Went From Promoting Concerts in Small Towns to Become the Number One Agency in North America

Concerts are often the highlight of a music lover’s year. People often wait for the exciting news of which major artist will be visiting and performing in their city. Others even take the time to hit the road just to see their favorite musicians on the big stage. While the artist may be what attracts the crowds, others take the precaution to see who’s marketing the event. In North America, Global Tour Creatives is the company most people can rely on to deliver amazing creatives to promote the tour.

While there are numerous companies that produce marketing assets,, no one does it the way Global Tour Creatives do. They are the number one entertainment production agency in North America, taking up almost 60% of the top gross tours in the country.

Since its creation, Global Tour Creatives have secured some of the biggest names in the music industry today. Clients include artists such as Eagles, Jennifer Lopez, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, and Harry Styles.

Despite how massively successful GTC is today, there were a lot of bumps on their road to greatness. When it was first founded in 2010 by self-taught entrepreneurs from Dublin, Ireland named James Hyland, Russell Treacy, and Lee Walsh, people had initial doubts that they could establish themselves in the industry.

Most acts at the time were played around Belfast and Dublin. GTC promoted concerts and booked them in small college towns around the country, building relationships from the group up. The founders would sleep in their offices for the first year of their business. Eventually, they started picking up their pace. Having first opened an office in Dublin, GTC later launched an office in Los Angeles.

With an 18-person team, Lee Walsh made sure that the company hired only the best. He welcomed Rafael Vankowski and Rodrigo Trabbold, two individuals from Brazil, to GTC. Rafael is an Art Director from Marília, São Paulo, and Rodrigo is a graphic designer who resided in São Paulo.

Rafael joined the agency in 2014 and worked hard to achieve a promotion in over two years. Rodrigo would join the team in 2016, designing most of the eye-catching promotions. Together they established the agency to reach greater heights, collaborating with artists like Lady Gaga and more, to create memorable concerts for people to talk about for years.

Outside of concerts, Global Tour Creatives have also worked on events like Cirque du Soleil and Santa the Experience. The latter is an elf-guided journey to the north pole that hundreds of thousands of people experienced, holding a live video chat with Santa.

While the pandemic has put a stop to live tours, for now, GTC is hopeful that the touring industry will be able to come back online with shows slowly returning by summer.
