Renowned Social Media Influencer and Actor David Murrietta Jr Shares His Amazing Journey Finding Success in Love, Life, and Career

In this day and age, it has become exceedingly difficult to set oneself apart from the sphere of social media influencers that are changing the world for the better. Fortunately, David Murrietta Jr. and his wife Alexandra Creteau are changing the game, pushing the boundaries of the medium and inspiring others to enjoy life and live it the way they want it to.

We sat down with David Murrietta to get some insights on his thriving career as a social media influencer and actor, following him on his journey towards success in love, life, and his career:

Q: Would you please introduce yourself to all our readers out there?

A: It is definitely my pleasure! My name is David Murrietta Jr, and I am a social media influencer and actor. I film YouTube videos with my wife for our couples channel: Dalex Vlogs. I also share lifestyle and fashion content on my Instagram page: @david_murrietta

Q: Can you elaborate on how you got started with your current career? Take us along on your amazing journey.

A: This is a fun one! I was introduced to acting and the influencer lifestyle very late in the game. Not having a lot of theatrical training growing up made me more determined and hungry to just create content!

From comedy sketches, dramatic short stories or full feature films, if I could be a part of it in one way or another, I was all in! The actor journey definitely had its ups and downs. I love to be around any film set, soaking up any knowledge or wisdom from other performers or crew members.

I enjoy seeing what goes on in front of as well as behind the camera. Acting is a field of study that can never truly be perfected, and that is what grabs my attention: the challenge!

Q: With that being said, we would like to know more about David Murrietta as a person. What were you doing before you garnered all of this success?

A: I was originally born in San Jose, California. I have a background in Law Enforcement and Business. I worked on a few projects in San Francisco, which is where I fell in love with acting. I moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting, and later, I was introduced to the social media world. I enjoy modeling, blogging, and offering tips on lifestyle and fashion through my Instagram.

Before acting and being a social media influencer, I have never had a career, let alone a job where I had the freedom to express myself artistically. My degrees are in criminal justice and general business, so acting and blogging are totally different fields. Early into my pursuit of law enforcement.

I suffered a major knee injury, which resulted in replacing my ACL, MCL, and meniscus, which ultimately opened other doors. I have always had a supportive family who wanted me to be happy in what I did for work instead of a steady 9-5. Deal jobs have never interested me, which I owe a great deal of transitioning and growing early on in my professional adulthood.

Blogging, becoming a brand ambassador, and social media influencing became a part of my daily routine, which I really enjoy between auditions. It gives my audience an insider’s look at what it is like to pursue being a working actor.

Q: Do you have a parting message for our readers?

A: Yes, take a moment to listen to others, whether it be a friend, family member, partner or a complete stranger. We have strayed so very far away from being united as one common human race. We are all brothers and sisters. We need to all come together and support one another, not spread negativity and hate. There are those who talk about change and unity. These are the voices we need to listen to and support. Our past relatives all lived with one another in the past. We all live alongside each other today and our children in the future. Think of our relatives and what they sacrificed. Remember where you came from.
