Miss Trader: Majida Housni Launches Platform Alongside Senator Dave Min to Help Women Cushion the Effects of COVID-19 on Their Businesses

Entrepreneurs may be driven by the desire to make profits. Still, as humans, there is a greater desire to ease the sufferings of fellow humans, especially those who are victims of natural disasters or pandemics. In a post-pandemic world, Majida Housni is helping women bounce back on their feet and go back to their business as she teams up with Newport’s Senator Dave Min.

In today’s world, entrepreneurs are not celebrated for their billion-dollar ideas or the size of the conglomerate they have been able to build or what innovation they are driving into their industries. Instead, entrepreneurs today receive applause and accolades because of their contribution to humanity, being a stop-gap between sanity and anarchy, between acute hunger, poverty, polio, and the people. The humanity in each successful entrepreneur and the sad state of a large percentage of the world’s population pushes successful individuals to contribute their quota to human capital development and infrastructural development. Maison Maj is a household name in the concierge service industry. Still, today, she is driving the world’s attention to the plight of Africans and Black people through her dedicated platform for giving back to society.

As far as hospitality goes, Maison Maj Club has worked with several A-list celebrities and business people by providing luxury concierge services, including private jets and luxury car rental, among others. As CEO who sees the company’s daily running, Majida is completely in touch with her roots and her immediate community.

As part of her contribution to society, Majida Housni supports Newport senator Dave Min’s vision to help small businesses impacted by COVID-9 generally and support African women entrepreneurs through an outreach program called Miss Trader. As a woman who sees the devastating effects of the pandemic on small-scale businesses every day, Majida is pushing for an inclusive economy that helps women cushion the effects of the pandemic on their businesses and sources of livelihood.

In addition to being driven by the pain and experiences of women worldwide, Majida identifies with the female gender and understands their situation, which is why she has taken it upon herself to contribute her quota to making a living and business conditions for women easier. According to her, if in five years, she has been able to reach out to thousands of women across the board by inspiring them, especially those of African descent, then her job is done.

Majida Housni is the founder and CEO of the Luxury concierge company Maison Maj and  Maison Maj Club, a social club for a handpicked of like-minded people who share a passion for the best things in life and seek more out of every experience. Maison Maj is known to go beyond expectation to provide clients with an unparalleled luxury lifestyle with the utmost discretion. In 2015, as part of its diversification and expansion, the club started offering concierge services that guarantee fast and discreet handling of every clients’ business task and special requests.
