Overcoming Grief with Rae Karim: The Passionate Grief Coach That Is Changing the World’s Perception on Grief

Grief is a passage, not a place to stay, and Rae Karim is a navigator. As a grief coach, she utilizes tried and tested strategies to help grievers come to terms with their journey and make sure they know that they are not alone. Rae is incredibly gifted with her words, pouring her heart and soul into her work at every turn. Her talents have led her to become a bestselling author, sought-after writer, and speaker in her own right.

Rae Karim assists with planning and officiating funeral services and initiating and finalizing business affairs on behalf of grieving families. She is adept at facilitating grief retreats and conducting workshops on grief in schools, churches, and organizations. We, as a society, need to learn how to handle grief, as it can often be a daunting and heavy emotion. Education is key to reaching an understanding, and Rae stands at the forefront of grief education.

“Not only have I experienced grief personally, but I have experienced grief professionally, having served as a pastor,” shared Rae.

In the near future, Rae Karim envisions herself helping revolutionize the world’s perspective on grief. She aims to make an impact on our society’s notions on the subject, allowing us to further understand what we grieve, how we grieve, and why we grieve.

“I would like to offer a curriculum to educate those in service professions such as social workers, pastors, chaplains, doctors, and nurses in ways that will increase their capacity for compassion and understanding. I especially hope to increase the knowledge of grief and grief expression for corporate America, in ways that will increase bereavement leave not only for adults but children as well,” she explained.
